Red, White, and BOOM!

For some holidays, I totally get into the celebration and the spirit of the day...not so much this year for the 4th of July. I was feeling sick pretty much all morning and afternoon, which was a total bummer. But I was able to muster up some strength to celebrate a little American spirit during the evening!

Zo had his last day of the outdoor mattress sale in Livingston (which is about 20 miles from Bozeman) with his brother, Alden. Livingston has a huge rodeo every year on the 4th, so we decided to hit that up since they were already in the area and I've never been. I rode with my sis-in-law, Arison, and our good friend, Abby, over the hill to good ol' Livingston and it was a blast! The weather was perfect, the horses were bucking, and the elephant ears were delicious! :) After the rodeo, they put on a nice fireworks show that we watched right from the stadium. It was a wonderful evening with good company, good entertainment, and good all-American fireworks! These are from my phone, which thankfully, takes some decent pics. I think I'm starting to develop a nasty habit of always forgetting my camera! >.< I was so mad when we sat down in the bleachers and I realized I had left the camera in the car! Bad Ashley, I know. I will try to be better about that!

How fun-seriously. And yeah-those are pretty good pictures I wouldn't have known they were from your phone if you hadn't said that. YOu know you can blog directly from your phone! Ooooh cool.... JUST by sending a picture message-no internet needed.
